Blues Drum Tracks

Will you be doing additional blues tracks? Also, if I had a specific song that I wanted do you special orders? I suspect you can't copy something straight out but often I see jam tracks listed as "in the spirit of Eric Clapton's Layla..." I would be willing to look at paying you for your efforts.

Heavy medeival...well sorta

Hi Jim Lovin jamming to your full beats...never had so much enjoyment! I was thinking of a heavy medieval dance beat. I heard some classical really old stuff of an called "terpsicore?" by Praetorius, from like 1600's-it was pretty cool as far as the beat. I don't understand such things but Im sure you would. It might be a lot of fum for folks...and you too of course as you could style it for nowadays maybe. Thanks for the best 25 bucks Ive ever spent...really- Bill B

Country

I signed up because I expected a lot more of country beats but there was only one I could use the train beat which is great but its the only one there, very disapointed

music's future outlook

Hhow bout something new and innovative? create the foundation and finish setting up the srage for musics new n greatest platform yetHow would you do funkroc blues (my genre) and kozmic beats? Also some Gospel n dramatic peer Gospel ballads n power blues ballads, orchestral or cinematic beats? Ya dig?? Oh n funky marchs. Too

Funk and gospel

Hey Jim, I would love to have some funky stuff from you as well as (black) gospel. I am using it for recording songs in my home studio with my wife. I'm a bass player, and I build the songs from a bass pattern with drums, instead of starting with a melody or lyrics. Greets, Wouter The Netherlands

New tracks

What about som ballads and some latin percussion ??

50's and 60's beats rock and roll

rock around the clock Bo Diddley could this be magic sea of love just a dream only you pennies from heaven

rockabilly too!

I wanted to add to the last request: some good ol' fashioned rockabilly styles- ala Stray cats,Carl Perkins, Elvis, Chuck Berry, etc. Fast and swingin'!

Hand percussion

Would love some more hand percussion. Also- for song construction purposes, I would love it if you could put some stuff geared towards breakdowns, for example a 16 bar section of only hats and cymbals or a section of cymbals and some tom grooves, similar to what you might hear deep into a jam band tune when things get spaced out. (if this stuff is already available please point me in the right direction, I'm new!) 85-120 bpm would be ideal for me, but I am sure other users would benefit from this type stuff as well. Love the tracks and the sight, keep up the good work please!!! + X (whatever we're up to) on reggae, ska....

That's a great suggestion. I

That's a great suggestion. I do have some stuff like you described, but i don't really have it sorted. some beats are more dynamic than others. You may have to mix and match for now, but I'll see if i can come up with for the future.

I downloaded a bunch of stuff

I downloaded a bunch of stuff so I will check that out and I'm sure that will keep me busy for a while!! (which is good since I am having shoulder replacement surgery next week and I will have a LOT of time on my hands) I know it may be an odd request (breakdowns and space jams) , but since I really like to get a big dynamic range in my songs, having some tracks that aren't a full drum beat would really help me to achieve that, so if you did some intros or softer cymbal based breakdowns that would be awesome.

Punk Rock , Power Pop drums

I would love to see more punk style beats, with rolling toms for chorus or bridge, not quite as fast as what you have posted. also, some Power Pop styles would be great too (ala Cheap Trick, Big Star)

That's a good one. Yes tom

That's a good one. Yes tom choruses!

thank you sir

I look forward to hearing what ya come up with. "Cheap Trick Power Pop" would be great, songs like Southern Girls, He's a Whore, Just Got Back are good sources. I sincerely hope your daughter gets well soon, too. Take care!

Jazz

Beat Poetry

Among the jazz, some subdued, laid back bits for beat poetry would be nice. Brushes, etc. I think you already have a request for hand percussion. Bongos, please?

full progressive tracks

Hi so far I find the resource wonderful. I make music as a hobby and I really like using the full tracks, saves a lot of hard work trying to do something Iam no good at. I saw some progressive rock loops but no full arrangements posted unless I missed it. A few full really long(10min) varied tracks in the style of brit prog groups would be fun to Improvise with. bill b PS Oh I also wanted to wish folks out east the best riding out that big storm Sandy- Hope all is well with you and yours Jim, and of course all others effected- bill b

Drum loop in 7 1/2 time signature

Looking for few loops at 15/8 time signature in the tempo of 110... Thanks and Regards, Manoj Pandya

More Blues...

Hi Jim, Great work on the drum loops - I am using these to accompany me on the piano (practice only) and they work a treat. Couple of questions - could we have more blues .. some 12 bar blues in Clapton / Hendrix (Hey Joe) style would be good. Also - if I cannot find a drum loop in the correct tempo, what's the best thing to do? Can I re sample it to speed / slow it down, or is it best to have it pre-recorded in the correct tempo to start with? Many thanks Adam

drum samples

hi jim, first all i just want to say fantastic work on all your drum tracks and your loops performances, but i need more drum samples for example, original drum samples you have played in "Slow-groove-rock-80-BPM-11-8-10-2496-drum-loops"and "Afro_Rock_Drums_130_BPM_Loops" reason is that i wont to play it with my vst sampler.because your drum loops to download are different from your performances except rides and crashes.so i need good tom toms, kicks and snares.if you can do. thankyou infinite,,,,

Regae

Hi Jim, Any chance of adding some reggae type feels (standard Bob Marley groove etc), or are they on the site already and I've missed them? Many thanks Jim

Noel gallagher/Oasis

I'd like to have a few of the laidback oasis-songs to pluck my guitar to. Cigarettes in hell or shout it out loud...u know, that cup of tea. Love ur blues beats btw;)

I need a R&B like beat with like a hiphop feel please at 39bpm it would be nice if each instrument was separated the snare hihat kick and so fourth thanks in advance I really appreciate it. Take care.

Request: slow blues with "rim clicks" on the snare

Hi Jim,

first I just want to say fantastic work on all your drum tracks - I appreciate the sounds and loops very much, but I also really like the whole tracks - I've spent hours just "virtually jamming along with you" (well, your tracks, but the way you are making them really make it the next best thing to really having a drummer along - and I'm sure the neighbors appreciate it, too!)

If I may put up a request, it would be great to have one more slow blues type of drum track, what I'm thinking of is kind of a soft but groovy feel with a soft, syncopated hi-hat and rim clicks (is that the right term in English - if not, please bear with me, I mean using the rim of the snare instead of the center drum part that is usually played), at around 70-80 bpm, and then stronger part in between to really let it rip on a solo, tuning back down to the soft... and if the track would be in the 12-bar blues cycle format with some emphasis/extra fills on the turnaround back to the first bar, that would be just perfect!

What do you think, any chance of you doing a track like that? :)

Best regards,
Matti

Hi Matti,Yes I can

Hi Matti,

Yes I can definitely make some 12 bar blues drum loops with a cross stick. Thanks for the request.

Best,
Jim Dooley

Thanks!

Hi Jim,

Fantastic! I am really looking forward to hearing (and jamming along to) it, thank you very much already in advance!

Best regards,
Matti

Faster

Hi I need something like a rock/motown cross?

Do you have a song in mind?

Do you have a song in mind?

drum line cadences

we need to hear some drumline cadences with snare, quads, tenor, bass drum, and cymbal parts

I had the same need recently...

...and I found it's possible to pretty closely simulate the sound using toms and a bongo as stand-ins for the quads and "rim". That, plus a military snare line and a single bass drum sample "thump!" is pretty much enough to do the trick.

Sorry that's not really my

Sorry that's not really my thing. I could probably do some snare stuff though.

Would love more 4/4 or 3/4

Would love more 4/4 or 3/4 brush style beats, rock/slow rock with something like: verse chor verse bri chor chor There's a lot of heavier stuff on the site, and trying to see any lighter touch things with a bit more fills and jazz/rock type feels. Not too much of that stuff around anymore!

Thanks, for the request I i

Thanks, for the request I i will be adding more brushed drum loops soon.
